These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Watchtower security scanning service and related offerings operated by Coding Protocols at https://watchtower.codingprotocols.com. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Use of the service

You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the service to scan sites you do not own or have permission to test, to probe or attack systems without authorization, or to violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

3. Account and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and promptly update it if it changes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: abuse or overload the service; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ data; use the service to distribute malware or conduct phishing; or resell or sublicense the service without our written consent. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the service, including software, design, and content. You receive a limited license to use the service in accordance with these Terms. You retain rights in your own data; you grant us a license to use it as needed to provide and improve the service.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that scans will identify all vulnerabilities or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Security scanning and fix suggestions are for informational use; you are responsible for evaluating and applying any recommendations.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or one hundred dollars if greater).

8. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
